Investment Opportunity

There is a clear opportunity to develop Baltic Wharf as a Marine Centre. However, to attract the investment needed the business case needs to be further developed and it needs to be backed by evidence. The Marine Sector Economics link goes a along way towards providing the evidential foundations needed.

The detail of the business case will be developed over the next few months as part of discussions with the many stakeholders and potential investors, with a view to a detailed plan being brought forward, so that an offer can be made to TQ9 Ltd in due course.

The following is a provisional and incomplete list of possible sources of investment in Baltic Wharf. It must be stressed that none have been approached as yet, but we will be talking to as many as possible over the coming months.
